Election of Six (06) Members to the Veterinary Council of Sri Lanka (2022-2025)

Nominations are hereby called to fill Six (06) vacancies in the Sri Lanka Veterinary Council. Nominations from candidates who wish to contest should be made on prescribed from "A" annexed here to.

Candidates must be registered Veterinarians at the Veterinary Council of Sri Lanka and each candidate must be proposed and seconded by persons who shall be registered Veterinarians.

The candidate shall also record his or her consent to the nomination in form "A". Nomination papers must be sent preferably under registered cover to reach me on or before 7th February 2022.

An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to the proposer within five days of receipt of the nomination paper.

Noncompliance with above requirements as set out in the Regulations governing elections will render a nomination invalid. The decision of the Council to either accept or reject a nominaon ptiaper on grounds of noncompliance with these requirements shall be final.

Please note that under mentioned Four (04) Veterinarians are already members of the Council.
